It Begins 21st August 2011

Students, welcome to our Dress Fresh website! We want to use this blog to keep you informed of what we're doing to help you settle into university life and enjoy your fresher's week, so we're using our first post to explain a little bit more about the website and give you some background information about the company and who run it.

Our business works closely with participating universities and gives something back.
Dress Fresh has worked with all the halls and colleges featured on this website all year to provide a product that we think will be great for their students. Not only that, but we give the halls and colleges a percentage return for promoting our product to you. That means that by buying from us, you're helping your college or hall committee provide bigger and better events for you during your first year!
How the website works.

As you can see on the homepage, there are 4 steps to the process and it is really simple!

  • You pick your university and then you hall or college to see the fancy dress packs on offer and the events taking place during Fresher's Week;
  • You have the freedom to choose how much you want to spend, with value and deluxe pack options;
  • Our packs are tailored for males and females, and on top of that some of our packs contain customisable items, where you can choose which item you want from two options, helping to set you apart from the crowd!
  • You'll be able to pay for your pack quickly and easily via PayPal, and it will be delivered to your university to collect in the Autumn.

The Company and its Directors 16th August 2011

Dress Fresh was set up in October 2010 by Malin Patel and Oscar Ford, students at Loughborough University and the University of York respectively, who are both heading into their second years in autumn 2011.

Malin and Oscar stumbled across this idea after numerous failed attempts at fancy dress in their own Fresher's Weeks. Through a combination of laziness and expense, they struggled to look the part, either trying to blag why they weren't in fancy dress or just about scraping the bare minimum with some dabbed on face paint and glo sticks.

Through Dress Fresh, they hope to give you a solution. Sure, fancy dress is easy when you can devote lots of time to plan it, but from their experience, Fresher's Week doesn't really give you that luxury!
